Sustainability Controller

Currently we are offering a very interesting position of Sustainability Controller in our Global Finance team. The preferred job location will be Vantaa, Finland where we offer hybrid working mode. This role includes occasional business travel.
As our Sustainability Controller, you'll take full ownership of our external ESG reporting and support internal performance tracking while partnering across finance, operations and sustainability teams as well as with our external auditors. You will act as a key link between ESG disclosures and financial reporting, ensuring alignment, consistency and data integrity.
This person will report to Director of Group Reporting and Tax with matrix reporting to Global Sustainability Director.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Ensure ESG reporting alignment with reporting standards, such as CSRD, ESRS and EU Taxonomy.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain schedule, plan tasks and involve relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, and validate sustainability data from across the organization.
- Deliver high-quality ESG data and related narrative content for the annual report. Support the ESG aspects of other investor relations reporting and presentations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry standards and support business to proactively manage these.
- Support finance /sustainability organizations with ad hoc analysis.
- Participate the quarterly / monthly financial reporting process when applicable.
To be successful in this role we expect the candidates to have the qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in finance, sustainability, or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience, including strong audit, consulting or inhouse experience in ESG reporting and CSRD standards in a listed company.
- Experience in Manufacturing business would be beneficial.
- Fluent in English and Finnish; excellent written communication skills.
