This is a high-impact role, reporting directly to the Group CEO, with full ownership of the M&A lifecycle—from sourcing and evaluation to execution and integration. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you will be at the forefront of identifying and delivering growth opportunities that create long-term value.

What You Will Enable & Drive
In this role, you will lead Scanfil’s M&A activities end-to-end, ensuring a structured and proactive approach to identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities.
Your mission is to enable profitable growth through high-quality M&A execution, while ensuring disciplined decision-making and successful integration.
We believe in combining strong analytics with collaboration—working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify opportunities, manage risks, and deliver successful transactions.
You will:
Drive and execute Scanfil’s M&A strategy, ensuring a strong and continuous deal flow
Identify, evaluate, and maintain a portfolio of potential acquisition targets aligned with strategic priorities
Conduct in-depth financial, strategic, and operational analysis, including valuation and modelling
Prepare and present clear recommendations and business cases to senior leadership to support decision-making
Lead and coordinate the full acquisition process from sourcing to closing, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
Manage cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration across finance, legal, commercial, and operational functions
Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes (financial, legal, environmental, commercial), including external advisors
Participate in negotiations, including LOIs and transaction documentation, in line with management and board decisions
Develop and drive post-acquisition integration plans, ensuring organizational readiness and successful handover
Monitor market trends and industry developments to support strategic decision-making and opportunity identification

Core Competencies
Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
Proven ability to deliver results in complex, high-stakes environments
Excellent analytical capabilities, including financial modelling and valuation
Solid understanding of accounting and enterprise finance
Strong project management skills with a hands-on approach
Excellent communication and influencing skills at senior executive level
High level of accountability, ownership, and reliability
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
Proven track record in M&A execution and strategy implementation
Experience leading end-to-end M&A processes, preferably in a corporate or investment environment
Strong expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and valuation
Experience in post-merger integration is considered an advantage
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

This position can be based in Stockholm or Malmö (Sweden), or in Vantaa, Helsinki (Finland).
